Rikki Gruen

MA LMHC, NCC, CCTP

Rikki is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing for more than 25 years. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Master in Counseling was awarded through Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. She has also received further education through the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Equine Therapist, and trained in EMDR therapy.

In addition to her extensive education, Rikki has successfully treated people with trauma backgrounds, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, and co-occurring disorders. She has worked in diverse clinical settings. She’s worked with marriages in the form of pre-marital counseling, infidelity and parenting. She also has been an ordained pastor who co-labored with her husband in ministry. 

In addition to counseling, Rikki has a passion to  speak and loves to provide education and training to groups, churches, and organizations. She comes alongside people of all ages and cultures and counsels individuals, children, teens, marriages and families, providing a holistic approach to treatment by treating the body, soul, and spirit of each individual. 

Rikki has served many diverse populations both nationally and abroad including: Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanic, Burmese, Sudanese, Ugandan, Kenyan, and Sri Lankan populations. She also has practiced in a variety of settings including: hospitals, schools, churches, group homes, women's shelters, Native Clinics, Community Mental Health, and Head Start classrooms. Her calling is to bring out the greatness in people and deliver people from mental and spiritual bondage to a life of freedom and joy.

Kevin Gruen

Kevin gave his life to Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord at the age of 17. He was instantly transformed by the Holy Spirit and immediately had a hunger for God, His Word, His kingdom and His people. Over the past 20+ years Kevin has been a college pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor, senior pastor, missionary, evangelist, counselor, and author; as well as being married to Rikki and raising 6 children.

What does Kevin offer? He helps people find freedom in the Truth and full work of Jesus Christ, and then guides them on how to live out this freedom the rest of their life. Hurting? He will show you how you can heal quickly- emotionally, mentally and spiritually - and then teach you how to live a life of wholeness with God and in all relationships. Anxious or fearful? Kevin can help you deal fully with anxiety and healthily face and conquer the liar called “Fear.” Struggling with the Bible? He can offer you tools significant to breakthrough so that you can find connection, understanding, and meaningful application of God’s Word for your daily life.

Needing counsel or spiritual guidance? Kevin has over 25 years of pastoral and biblical counseling and has seen hundreds of people nurtured back into the life they have sought in Christ. Parenting issues? Kevin and Rikki have raised 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. He has over 25 years of hands-on parenting experiences available to you, plus years of study and revelation on godly parenting. Beyond his own family he has worked and ministered to children and teens in churches, special education classrooms, and psychiatric units. Struggling with bondage? Whatever the issue, Kevin is convinced of the full work of Jesus Christ and the truth of God’s Word, that they completely address everything we go through and everything we need in this life. 2 Peter 1:3. Philippians 4:19.
